Detailed Guide to Download E Pan
Pan is a 10 digit alphanumeric number issued by the income tax department. We can now download PAN Card. It is now available in digital form as well. An e-PAN card is a virtual PAN card that can be used for e-verification where required. Applicants can apply for an e-PAN through NSDL or UTIITSL portal.
You can also download an instant PAN through an Aadhaar card.
Following details of the cardholder are mentioned in the e-PAN card:
- Permanent Account Number
- Name
- Father’s Name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Photograph
- Signature
- QR code
How to download E- PAN Card Download from NSDL
- Go to the official website of the TIN-NSDL.
- Under ‘Quick Links’ select ‘PAN-New facilities’
- Select from the dropdown ‘Download e-PAN/e-PAN XML (PANs allotted in last 30 days)’ or ‘Download e-PAN/e-PAN XML (PANs allotted before 30 days)’, as applicable.
- In the PAN tab, you can enter your PAN number, aadhaar number, date of birth Or otherwise in the ‘Acknowledgement Number’ tab you can enter Acknowledgement number and date of birth/incorporation.
- Enter the captcha and submit.
- OTP will be delivered to your registered mobile number and email ID.
- Choose any one option and click on generate OTP.
- Now enter the OTP and click to validate.
- Click on “Download PDF”.
- You can now downloaded the pdf format of the e-PAN card. It is secured with a password, i.e. your birth date.
Download E- PAN Card Download from UTIITSL
- Go to the official site of the UTIITSL portal, from where you can download the PAN.
- Select ‘PAN Card Services’ and Click on ‘Download e-PAN’.
- Enter the ten-digit alphanumeric PAN number.
- Enter the date of birth, as mentioned in your documents.
- Enter the captcha and submit.
- A link will be delivered to your registered mobile number or email ID.
- Click on the link, and you can download the e-PAN Card using the OTP.
E-PAN Card Application by Aadhaar Card
The Finance Ministry of India through the Income Tax department has launched a new facility which provides instant PAN (on near real-time basis) allotment based on the Aadhaar number. the entire process is totally paperless and free of cost. The applicant is not even required to upload any types of documents.
- The applicant should have a valid Aadhaar Number.
- The Aadhaar Number of the applicant should not be linked to any other PAN.
- The applicant should have a mobile number registered with the Aadhaar.
Procedure
- Visit site https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home.
- Click on ‘Instant PAN through Aadhaar’ icon and Click on the ‘Get New PAN’ icon.
- Enter the Aadhaar number.
- Enter the Captcha.
- Click on ‘Generate Aadhaar OTP’. By clicking ‘Generate Aadhaar OTP’, a One Time Password would be sent to the registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP received.
- Validate the Aadhaar details.
- On successful submission of all the details, an acknowledgement number will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number and e-mail ID.
